We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD researcher to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a PhD researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on functional software generation.
About the ProjectThe goal of this project is to develop a generic approach for modeling functionality in a language-independent way and to map this target-independent model to a target-code-specific model. You will be responsible for generating code by unparsing target-code-specific models and targeting C, C++, and RUST. Additionally, you will explore the applicability of existing approaches and provide an end-to-end validation with RISC-V as a target processor.
About the RoleWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. You should have a passion for scientific research and a desire to work in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with metamodeling, code generation, and/or model-driven architecture. You should also have good presentation skills and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
