About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect Car IT/ Threat Modelling to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the security of our Car IT systems, identifying potential threats, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough security assessments of Car IT systems, identifying vulnerabilities and developing recommendations for remediation.

  • Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on Car IT security.

  • Strong understanding of threat modelling, embedded security, application security, secure software development, system design, and risk management.

  • Experience with security analysis and vulnerability assessment tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English and German languages.
