Job Title: Assistant Chief Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to lead our technical department and ensure seamless hotel operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the technical department: Oversee the daily operations of the technical department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborating with the team: Work closely with the hotel staff to maximize guest satisfaction and ensure that all technical aspects of the hotel are running smoothly.
  • Implementing departmental strategies: Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Assuming responsibilities: Take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the department head, ensuring that the hotel's technical operations continue to run smoothly.
  • Promoting company culture: Engage in promoting a culture that aligns with our company's growth and development goals.
  • Managing department costs: Oversee departmental costs and inventory, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Building relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hotel staff, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Adhering to regulations: Ensure that all technical aspects of the hotel are in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience: 3+ years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing service environments and priorities.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to find creative solutions and make recommendations to improve departmental performance.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a positive and open-minded personality.
  • Task management: Capacity to handle challenging priorities and tasks, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
