Become a part of SkySails Power GmbH as an Electrical Engineer focusing on Power Electronics and Energy Storage Technology. You will collaborate with our dedicated Electrical and Electronics team to innovate drive systems, grid connections, buffer storage, and control units for our advanced high-altitude wind energy solutions.

  • Develop power and control electronics systems with a focus on grid connection specifications
  • Identify and select appropriate components for power and control electronics
  • Design, choose, and integrate energy storage solutions into both existing and new systems
  • Configure inverters for optimal performance

Your qualifications:

  • A completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in power electronics, especially with inverters, grid filters, and energy storage
  • Preferably experience in creating simulation models for electrical generation and energy storage systems
  • Ideally skilled in electrical design using E-Plan
  • A self-motivated and organized approach to work
