Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for elevating our supply chain to the next level. Your primary focus will be on process definition, establishing new partnerships, and optimizing existing structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Roadmap: Develop and coordinate the strategic roadmap for our SCM activities, ensuring alignment with our company's overall vision and goals.
  • Logistics: Build and optimize a robust delivery network connecting our suppliers with customers across Europe, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • S&OP, Planning, and Integration: Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales and operations planning (S&OP) internally, ensuring efficient communication of demand signals to partners. Drive deeper integration with key partners to improve capacity utilization, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
  • Digitalization: Lead our SCM digitization initiatives and develop custom software solutions in collaboration with our engineering team, leveraging the latest technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from conceptualization to operational execution, including the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in business administration or industrial engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in (top) management consulting and additional operational experience in SCM.
  • Skills: Conceptual thinking, structured project management skills, experience in supplier management, strong commercial negotiation skills, ability to quickly and comprehensively familiarize yourself with various topics, excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel, proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
