About the Job
Vattenfall is seeking a highly skilled Certification Engineer in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) to join our Business Area Wind team. As a key member of our Certification team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our offshore wind portfolio is planned, developed, operated, and certified according to state-of-the-art industry practice and national standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the certification process for our offshore wind farms, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain certification strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and asset management, to ensure seamless certification processes.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with certification bodies, service providers, and authorities.
- Contribute to the development of procedures and tools to improve certification processes and quality management.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in certification, project management, and technical expertise in offshore wind or a related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in German and English.
