About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager Assistant to join our team at Compass Group Deutschland. As an Event Manager Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Develop and maintain event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist in the creation of event marketing materials, including promotional emails, social media posts, and press releases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure event objectives are met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
