Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leveraging the power of data to drive innovation and enhance business outcomes.

  • Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-depth analyses of complex datasets using advanced analytical techniques on existing data platforms.
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and insights within the data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Developing robust and sustainable data models that accurately predict future outcomes and support business objectives.
  • Integrating machine learning algorithms into existing solutions and workflows to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Creating comprehensive cost analyses and techno-economic evaluations to assess the feasibility and impact of proposed data-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and evaluate evaluation and control tools for diverse data sources, ensuring the availability of reliable datasets.
  • Leading complex data science projects from conception to completion, effectively managing resources and stakeholders.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • You possess at least four years of proven experience in data analysis and modeling within a professional setting.
  • You have a strong understanding of data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, R, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in statistical analysis, statistical measurements, and logical data modeling.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English, enabling effective collaboration within an international team environment.
  • Familiarity with Big Data architectures and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in creating and evaluating analyses using AI-supported tools would be a significant asset.
