Your Responsibilities
Overview:
We are in search of a skilled (Junior) Developer to become a vital part of our German software logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will engage in the development of user-friendly software for our primary tools in progress - the Git-enabled central transport system (gCTS) and the continuous integration lifecycle toolset (CILTS).
The Role:
As a (Junior) Developer, you will collaborate with SAP internal stakeholders and clients to discuss innovative requirements, determine suitable solution designs, and implement these solutions alongside your scrum team members in a cooperative and international setting.
You will adhere to agile software engineering principles, ensuring that the user and customer remain at the forefront of your work.
Your Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines.
Software Development Skills: Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages is essential. Experience in ABAP is mandatory, while familiarity with other object-oriented languages is a plus.
Technology Skills: Showcase your enthusiasm and the expertise you have acquired in contemporary technology trends, such as cloud development processes, architecture, operations, and web services.
Personal Skills: Strong analytical abilities, teamwork, and effective time management are crucial.
Language Skills: Proficient in both English and German, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Experience: Relevant professional experience as a full-stack ABAP software developer.

The lifecycle management of SAP products (transport, update, patch, upgrade installation, etc.) is critical for the success of our offerings in both traditional on-premise and cloud environments. Our customers anticipate seamless upgrades and uninterrupted operations.
Within the Software Logistics team, we have established procedures that enable most customers, whether on-premise or in the cloud, to experience minimal downtime through automated processes. With increasing demand from both SAP customers and internal SAP business units, we are seeking experienced developers to contribute to the development of new features and support ongoing enhancements.
