Financial Controller Role at Quantum-Systems GmbH

Become an integral part of our finance department at Quantum-Systems GmbH as a Financial Controller. In this pivotal position, you will oversee international financial communications with our subsidiaries, ensuring comprehensive management of group financial reporting and enhancing financial workflows. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will facilitate strategic decision-making through precise and timely financial data.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Management: Lead the monthly and annual budgeting activities across subsidiaries using our planning software, delivering strategic insights to aid in decision-making and resource distribution.
• Liquidity Oversight: Supervise and manage the company's cash flow to guarantee operational and investment liquidity, refining cash flow strategies for financial robustness and effectiveness.
• Compliance and Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to protect corporate assets and ensure financial precision, maintaining adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Cost Analysis: Assess and manage expenses based on received data, execute cost-reduction strategies without sacrificing quality, provide detailed financial reports to management, and pinpoint areas for fiscal enhancement.
• Operational Project Leadership: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, boost efficiency, and enhance financial data accuracy, initiating, leading, and monitoring projects across subsidiaries while continuously refining the company-wide ERP system as a unified data source.
• Effective Communication: Convey financial information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, fostering and maintaining relationships with auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions.
• Capital Management: Oversee the company's financial performance through prudent capital allocation in financial investments while ensuring adequate liquidity and responsible cash management.
• Strategic Risk Assessment: Analyze strategic decisions from a risk perspective, offering insights into potential mitigation strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor for management to drive organizational success.

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial management, ideally within the aerospace or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively in English and German with diverse stakeholders.
