Sales Associate with Cash Handling Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at REWE. As a Sales Associate with Cash Handling Responsibilities, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers at the checkout and sales area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Ensure a welcoming and pleasant experience for customers at the checkout and sales area, providing friendly and competent customer service.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle transactions and ensure correct cash register reconciliation, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the checkout area, ensuring a safe and healthy shopping environment for our customers.
- Inventory Management: Stock shelves with attention to quality and completeness of products, ensuring that our customers have access to a wide range of products.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Commercial Training or Experience: Commercial training or relevant work experience in retail, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
- Customer Focus: Passion for retail and interacting with people, with a strong customer orientation and communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges, with a flexible approach to work.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
