This position is pivotal in providing expert advice on export and import regulations to guarantee adherence to various European and international standards while supporting effective business functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary liaison for trade and customs inquiries
- Develop and enforce an Import/Export Control strategy
- Supervise export/import authorization requests
- Represent the organization in dealings with governmental bodies
- Oversee a comprehensive customs compliance initiative
- Evaluate and sanction international travel and visitor arrangements
- Deliver continuous training on import/export awareness
- Assist in identifying risks and mitigating the company’s exposure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Extensive knowledge in International Transportation and Logistics
- Proficiency in both English and German
- Expertise in MS Office Suite and SAP GTS
- Background in the Aerospace/Defense sector is advantageous
