About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at Adepto Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain activities for assigned aircraft suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Manage global Supply Chain Operations work-packages from forecasting, planning, purchasing, and supplier development, through to delivery and final payment.
    • Serve as the project manager for supplier work-packages, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring deliverables are met on time, with high quality, and within cost.
  • Supplier Management
    • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, such as engineering, logistics, production, and senior leadership.
    • Support procurement in supplier identification, risk assessment, and negotiation during the contracting phase.
    • Lead capacity audits and performance reviews for suppliers, ensuring their readiness for production.
  • Risk Management
    • Monitor and control supplier risks, implement early warning systems, and create recovery plans when necessary.
    • Manage supplier performance, including ramp-up and serialisation readiness, and support the Supply Chain Quality Team to ensure compliance with aerospace standards (EASA Part 21-G and EN9100).
  • Industrialisation and Quality
    • Lead industrialisation efforts for new products in line with AS9145 (APQP).
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in supply chain or technical project management, including at least 2 years in a similar role within the aerospace or automotive industries.
  • Skills
    • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and serial production.
    • Strong ERP system knowledge.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, build consensus, and motivate teams.
  • Travel
    • Willingness to travel within the EU and worldwide for supplier visits (up to once per month).
  • Language
    • Fluent English is essential.
