Position: Site-Based Quality Assurance Engineer

Type: Permanent Role

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Note: Candidates must possess EU passports, and proficiency in English is essential.

Experience in Data Centre operations is mandatory.

This role entails a permanent position with a work schedule of 10 to 11 consecutive days followed by 3 to 4 days off.

The organization provides comprehensive support for travel and accommodation, including an apartment in Frankfurt during work periods and return flights to the home country for off days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that production units conform to all approved specifications and drawings.
  • Oversee operations to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Propose modifications to the assembly or production processes as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and measurements on materials and products during production.
  • Ensure completion and documentation of all quality checks within the quality management system.
  • Make decisions to accept or reject finished products.
  • Document and report inspection and testing results.
  • Record and report non-conformances.
  • Identify and document issues, assisting in the scheduling of resolution timelines.
  • Upload pertinent information to logistics platforms.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all internal discussions under Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Represent the organization professionally with structured communication.
  • Report concerns to the site manager for escalation to higher management or clients.
  • Engage in weekly site meetings and collaborate with client quality representatives.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of equipment rentals.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role within the Mechanical & Electrical or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate timely project completions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Solid mathematical and technical abilities.
  • Understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Schematics.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality control is advantageous.
  • Experience in weld inspection.
  • Familiarity with inspecting mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Background in Data Centre environments.
  • First Aid certification.
