Senior Financial Analyst

- You will oversee the daily financial operations of QEE, with a primary focus on our core business as a provider of EPC services for renewable power plants.
- Your responsibilities include ensuring the precision and completeness of our general ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable by managing and recording business transactions.
- You will execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in compliance with IFRS and HGB, and prepare necessary appendices for group company reporting.
- You will assist in the financial audit process by addressing inquiries from external auditors and coordinating with relevant internal teams to fulfill audit requirements.
- You will serve as the primary contact for all departments regarding accounting-related inquiries and issues.
- You will manage ad-hoc requests from senior management and the Head of Department.
- You will strive for continuous improvement and refinement of accounting processes, focusing on optimization, automation, standardization, and the digital transformation of our accounting practices.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles is essential.
- A proven history of success in finance and/or accounting positions within an international context is necessary.
- A thorough understanding and application of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, supported by a globally recognized certification, is required.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and management is expected.
- Fluency in both German and English is mandatory; proficiency in any additional European language is advantageous.
