We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Data Engineer to join our team at JSS Associates. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data platform, which aggregates multiple data sets from various sources.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a data consultant with a passion for data engineering to work on a challenging project that requires creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines using MS Fabric, Timescale, and Azure
- Implement data processing and storage solutions using Data Bricks, Snowflake, and Delta
- Work with Apache Kafka and Postgres to ensure seamless data integration
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements to our data platform
- Provide user support and take enhancement requests to implement improvements through clever design and release
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
- Strong understanding of data processing and storage technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
