Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Research Scientist to join our team at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen. As a key member of our digital pathology team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing deep learning algorithms for medical imaging applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize deep learning algorithms for digital pathology
- Conduct clinical validation of AI models and analyses
- Expand knowledge of pathology through applications of explainability and interpretability
- Evaluate and present results of AI models and analyses
- Manage and analyze large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into clinical workflows
Requirements
- Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, bioinformatics, physics, or mathematics
- Advanced programming skills and experience with high-performance computing
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
