Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Consultant to join our team at getML / Code17 GmbH. As a Data Science Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients drive business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data-driven challenges and provide strategic guidance on implementing practical MLOps solutions.
  • Lead and participate in the entire project lifecycle, from business development and pre-sales to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of data, AI, and analytics solutions.
  • Work alongside data scientists, data engineers, and IT architects to design and implement impactful machine learning applications and data-driven use cases tailored to client needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of white papers, participate in industry conferences, and support client engagements to position getML as a leader in the data science and AI space.
  • Provide technical support for getML, assist in the development of the getML Python API, and deliver training on relational learning to clients.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data science and software engineering, ideally within a consultancy or IT industry setting.
  • Strong background in mathematics, physics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
  • Familiarity with data visualization frameworks (e.g., DataStudio, Tableau).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both German (C1) and English (B2).
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for client engagements and business development.
