About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at JOTEC GmbH. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our global operations
• Collaborate with the security team to implement robust security measures to protect our network infrastructure and data assets
• Conduct thorough technical analysis during troubleshooting, carefully document all activities, and follow procedural standards
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve our existing network systems
• Produce detailed reports and findings for management to keep them informed of network performance, issues, and solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in deployment and configuration of networking technologies specific to routing, switching, and general network security best practices
• 5+ years of network infrastructure design, implementation, administration, and maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of PCBSA/PCNSE with Palo Alto Firewalls, including Panorama and Prisma Access
• CCNP or equivalent experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers
• High standard of quality for support and experience working in a global environment
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills, as well as highly organized
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in both German and English
• Available for international travel
