Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit Behinderung im Kreis Pinneberg gGmbH. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families with children and teenagers, helping them to develop and strengthen their parenting skills and expand their knowledge in child rearing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for children and teenagers within families
  • Collaborate with professionals from other institutions to ensure comprehensive support for families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support activities and progress
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on parenting skills and child development
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Pedagogy or Social Work
  • Previous experience in family support or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office
