Position Overview:

We are seeking a Receivables and Credit Finance Specialist for our Finance Shared Services Front Office in the DACH region.

In this role, you will provide essential guidance and support to the business regarding accounts receivable, overseeing responsibilities such as managing receivables, cash collection, credit management, and customer credit assessments.

Your quick understanding of situations, persuasive communication, and assertiveness will establish you as a dependable partner for the business.

As part of the global Finance Common Shared Services network, you will work closely with our centers in Krakow and Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting customer evaluations, analyzing risks, establishing credit limits, and approving credit limits for customer orders.
  • Managing and tracking receivables; proactively reporting overdue accounts and implementing measures to mitigate them.
  • Performing cash collection and accounts receivable analyses as needed.
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of accounts receivable.
  • Calculating accounts receivable provisions in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS.
  • Identifying and executing continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitating Business Partner meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure service level agreements are fulfilled.
  • Acting as the primary contact for both external and internal customers.
  • Engaging in projects and other finance-related initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Experience in customer risk assessment and credit management is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Shared Service environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAP is required; familiarity with S4 HANA is a plus.
  • Professional project experience is beneficial.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong ability to quickly comprehend information, work independently, and maintain accuracy.
