Your Role: Android Developer

We are seeking a talented and driven Android Software Engineer to join our team of developers. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of AnyDesk's Remote Desktop Software for Android, an application with millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features and functionalities for the Android platform.
  • Create core components for the application.
  • Ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Android.
  • Analyze and understand the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) codebase.
  • Debug existing code and identify solutions to technical challenges.
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Java Android development.
  • Proficiency with Linux, particularly command-line usage.
  • Experience working with C++.
  • Understanding of concurrency and locking mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Kotlin and scripting (e.g., bash) is a plus.
