Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Digital Marketing & CX Specialist to join our team at Clarios. As a key member of our Digital Marketing & Customer Experience team, you will play a vital role in supporting our strategic initiatives across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the definition and implementation of the digital marketing strategy for VARTA, with a specific focus on the website experience, web conversion points, and search (organic & paid) traffic.
- Gradually take ownership of the planning, management, and coordination of strategic digital marketing projects.
- Support the Trade Marketing and Brand & Communication teams with planning and implementation of web assets for campaigns, providing input on ideation and technical considerations.
- Develop and optimize a comprehensive user experience for our online presence, defining personas, value proposition, journeys, and experiences for our key customer groups.
- Coordinate UX and CRO activities, including prioritization, research, concepting, design, testing, and refinement to ensure delivery of high-quality user experiences.
- Administer an integrated search strategy, including both SEO and SEA, driving high-quality, engaged traffic to the website.
- Partner with the Digital Content Specialist to deliver a content strategy for the website based on search volumes and opportunities.
- Coordinate web development backlog, prioritizing SME requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value.
- Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing activities, identifying and acting on opportunities.
- Work with the wider Digital Marketing & CX and IT teams to coordinate tracking on the website.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices to enhance the capabilities of the UX team and deliver better user experiences.
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Previous internship experience in digital marketing, CRM, or customer experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Passion for digital marketing, customer experience, and driving results.
- English fluent (business proficiency), further languages are a plus.
