About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Data, AI and Digital Compliance Program team at Mercedes-Benz Group AG. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting our team in shaping the future of digital transformation at Mercedes-Benz.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team and other departments to develop and implement strategies for responsible AI adoption and digital transformation.
  • Conduct research on emerging digital trends, particularly in the areas of AI ethics, regulation, and governance.
  • Support the development and implementation of information and training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in AI and digital transformation.
  • Contribute to the optimization of existing methods, standards, and processes to ensure effective implementation of our digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assist in designing and facilitating cross-departmental workshops and dialog formats to drive innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and present top management recommendations and decision-making materials on AI and digital transformation.
Requirements
  • Currently studying business administration, public policy, law, ethics, or a related field with a strong affinity for IT.
  • Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Confident handling of MS-Office.
  • Interest in new technologies and their ethical and legal challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge in machine learning and deep learning or another new technology is a plus.
  • High motivation and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility and openness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual ability to structure complex issues.
