Your future role will be integrated into our innovative Marketing Labs – our in-house full-service digital agency.

Your unit acts as our internal digital media publisher, responsible for developing proprietary media brands such as Digster Pop, Stoked, Circle Sessions, Ich find Schlager toll, uDiscover, and MusicBash. The goal is to attract new users and subsequently foster long-term engagement with the brands to generate visibility for our artists.

What you can learn with us:

  • Gain insights into the digital music business of Universal Music and the workflows of a major label.
  • Learn how strategic content marketing and digital promotion of music operates.
  • Acquire extensive knowledge about successful practices on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the creation and execution of posts on our "Digster Pop" social media channels, particularly on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Managing communication with fans and followers across social media platforms.
  • Independently researching pop culture topics for the community and developing engaging posts.
  • Supporting the preparation and execution of productions with creators and artists.
  • Creating photo and video content, such as artist interviews, using tools like Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Being present at events to provide live coverage for fans.
  • Responsible for reporting and conducting regular performance analyses of our social media posts.

Requirements:

  • You are a student in media, communication studies, design, business administration with a focus on marketing, or a related field.
  • You have a passion for pop culture topics and our artists.
  • You possess some practical experience in social media or online marketing.
  • You have excellent verbal communication skills in German.
  • You are familiar with Photoshop and Premiere.
  • You are enthusiastic about trends and viral social media content, and you can implement your ideas independently and with focus.
  • Your responsible, reliable, and self-directed work style allows you to quickly adapt to new tasks and systems.
