We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Content Partnership - France/Italy to oversee publisher relationships, negotiations, and catalogue performance for our audiobook vendors in the European growth markets of France, Italy, and other upcoming new marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead regional teams in managing publisher relationships, negotiating deal terms, and driving agreements for audiobook vendors across different markets.
- Cultivate publisher relationships in close coordination with our global and European content teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand Audible's content offerings in France, Italy, and other European markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop deal strategy, formulate key terms, and plan for complex agreements and negotiations with global publishing vendors.
- Communicate deal proposals and results through written reports and presentations.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in international intellectual property rights licensing businesses, preferably from the book, television, film, or computer game industry. You should have experience conducting complex, high-profile negotiations, managing people, and developing strategies that influence leadership decisions.
You should be an excellent communicator, with outstanding written and verbal skills, and be proficient in European languages, including French, Italian, and English. A well-developed network into key partners in the European book publisher and agent landscape is a plus.
