About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented software development student to join our Strategic Frontrunner Projects Team at SAP. As a software engineering student, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on innovative projects that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Perform all necessary tasks from requirements engineering, software design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Directly interact with customers and users to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Collaborate with an agile group of students with a tech and design background to bring ideas together and jointly ship real applications to real end users
Requirements
- Student (f/m/d) at a university of applied sciences in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid foundational knowledge in computer science and software engineering methodology
- Experience in source code management (e.g., git)
- Experience in App Development for iPhone (iOS, Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit)
- Knowledge about UX fundamentals and methods
- Experience in REST- and GraphQL-APIs are a plus
- Experience in AR/VR are a plus (e.g. RealityKit, ARKit)
- Experience in DevOps is a plus (e.g., Continuous Integration using Jenkins or Travis)
- Experience in Game Design/ 3D modelling is a plus
- Experience in AI is a plus
- Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)
- Eager to learn about new technologies
- Hands-on, reliable and open-minded mentality
- Strong team working skills
- Determined to reach a goal in time, to work independently and to prioritize tasks
About the Team
The Strategic Projects team is a dynamic team at the heart of the 'Business Technology Platform (BTP) Foundation Engineering' unit. We focus on innovative solutions for cross-BTP topics, and enhancing BTP products and services. We prepare keynotes and provide expert insights for strategic BTP technology topics. Our team is sectioned into dedicated and functional focus areas, working collaboratively with other SAP teams to realize our mission.
