Job Title: Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our project support team, you will be responsible for managing contracts and claims, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate contracts and create official business letters relating to the contract
  • Process supplements, overruns, and other claims from contractors
  • Collaborate with the commercial project manager to design enquiries and tenders
  • Review offers and contract documents for project and supplier-specific claim strategies
  • Support the execution of contracts, including contract and addendum management
  • Analyse performance deviations and their impact on the construction process
  • Advising the commercial project manager and project teams on contractual issues and claim potentials
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed studies in economics, business administration, or a technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in national and international project business
  • Sound knowledge of contract law, including service and work contract law, construction contract law, and VOB/HOAI/BGB/FIDIC
  • Technical understanding combined with a commercial focus
  • Very good IT skills, including MS Office and SAP
  • Ability to work in a team, perseverance, resilience, and flexibility
