We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead our embedded software development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects with significant impact on our company's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage embedded software development projects with significant complexity, risk, and impact on our company's operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a diverse project team with members from multiple functions across Infineon, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand system architecture for power conversion solutions, algorithms, software stack, and system partitioning using industrial MCUs as controllers.
  • Requirements Management: Manage team of experts translating power conversion application requirements into requirements for various subsystem components.
  • Software Development: Understand application requirements for digital power systems and associated software libraries.
  • Project Structure: Structure projects and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Lead others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
  • Change Management: Anticipate and proactively manage change, ensuring buy-in for change and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Team Empowerment: Lead team by empowering project managers of sub-projects to deliver on project objectives, considering cross-cultural location topics.

Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Project Management Certification: A formal project management certification (IPMA Level C).
  • Experience: At least 8 years' practical experience in management of embedded software development projects combining processors, power, and signal processing on general-purpose processors or DSPs.
  • Software Development Flow: Strong experience in software development flow.
  • ModusToolbox: Comprehensive overview in ModusToolbox and how to get started developing an asset for the ecosystem.
  • Project Management Skills: Hands-on project management skills in the SW area for power conversion applications and controllers in a product to system context.
  • Leading Industry Professional Software Development: Strong familiarity with leading industry professional software development with respect to coding standards, quality levels, and certifications.
  • Switch Mode Power Supplies: Knowledge of switch mode power supplies, system level circuit modeling with EDA tools is a plus.
  • Intercultural Competencies: Great intercultural competencies and excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Presentation and Documentation Skills: Excellent and structured presentation and documentation skills.
  • Proven Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during the project.
  • English Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills.
