About us Global Health and Wellbeing company are looking to recruit a dynamic German/ English Senior Accountant to join their European Team. The position is based is Munich and successful applicant must be fluent in both German and English language. Tasks Reporting to the Finance Manager, EMEA, the Senior Accountant is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the financial affairs for the German entity and overseeing aspects of accounting for the European entities. Oversee aspects of accounting for the European entities, billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and various special analyses. Maintain general ledger reconciliations with adequate documentation for all balance sheet accounts. Responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and commentary. Establish and maintain the company’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit of the German entity. The above duties do not define or include all tasks required of the post holder. Duties and responsibilities may vary without changing the level of responsibility Profile The ideal candidate will preferably have the following: Bachelor’s degree. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA). 3 - 5 years of direct experience in the field. Experience supporting annual audits. German GAAP experience is a must. SAP experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Must be based in Munich and have the ability to speak both German and English fluently.
