With our team, we are working on the realisation of a sustainable power market – at our headquarter in the heart of Cologne-Ehrenfeld, in our European branches and, of course, also while working from home.(Senior) Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) Azure PlatformAs a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Azure infrastructure, ensuring it remains robust and scalable to meet the demands of our growing operations. In this role, you will provide essential support to internal teams, assisting them in the deployment and operation of various applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Your expertise in Cloud Engineering, coupled with your proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD, will be critical in driving our modernization initiative forward. By leveraging your skills and experience, you will play a pivotal role in transforming one of Europe's leading virtual power plants, contributing significantly to our mission of innovation and efficiency in the energy sector. Whether full-time or part-time, fully remote or on-site – let us know how we match up. To stay connected as a team, we only ask for three on-site days per quarter.

You help shape and continuously develop our cloud infrastructure and platform with a strong focus on qualityYou drive IT projects from concept and evaluation to implementation, operation, and supportYou automate processes and infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible to ensure scalable, consistent environmentsYou implement and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and secure deploymentsYou support mission‑critical systems by being part of the 24/7 on‑call rotation and responding to alerts in a timely mannerYou collaborate closely with architects and with your agile, international team to create guidelines, best practices, and shared engineering standards while you mentor and support your colleagues in their professional growthYou work confidently with Microsoft Azure in productive environmentsYou automate infrastructure with Terraform and/or Ansible following modern engineering standards, by creating CI/CD workflows using GitHub ActionsYou script in Python to support automation, tooling, and operational scenariosYou integrate IT security and regulatory requirements (including KRITIS) into concepts and daily operationsYou think holistically, applying a platform‑engineering mindset to improve architectures, processes, and overall service qualityYou speak English fluently; German is a plusHybrid and flexible working including home office equipmentThe opportunity to save up additional vacation days and use them flexibly with our Flextime working modelComprehensive further development opportunities such as language courses, coaching and trainingJob bike and Germany ticketSports offers e.g (Urban Sports Club, Yoga courses)Regular events: summer party, Christmas party, LAN party, after-work pizza & drinksExternal support in finding daycare places as well as other private and professional challengesJBRP1_DE
