Plattform Engineer - Data Platforms (m/w/d) in Vollzeit (40 Stunden/Woche)

Daten sind eine zentrale Ressource für die GEMA und ihre Geschäftsprozesse. Unsere Mission ist es, die Entwicklung hochwertiger Datenprodukte und Insights für die Musikbranche zu ermöglichen und die Nutzung von Daten effizient und sicher zu gestalten. Eine dezentrale Datenplattform, eine aktive Daten-Community und ein modernes, auf Self-Service fokussiertes Data Governance Model spielen eine entscheidende Rolle auf unserer Mission.

Als Plattform Engineer (m/w/d) entwickelst und betreibst du mit einem interdisziplinären und erfahrenen Team unsere Self-Service Daten-Plattform, die nach einem Data Mesh organisiert ist und stark wächst. Mit deinem technischen Geschick und Know-how trägst du dazu bei, dass mehrere hundert Nutzer, bis hin zu unseren Mitgliedern, auf hochwertige Daten zugreifen können und spielst eine Schlüsselrolle dabei, die GEMA zu einer datenzentrierten Organisation zu machen.

Du fühlst dich wohl dabei, unsere moderne Data Plattform auf Basis von Terraform sowie Databricks, GCP, Kafka und Tableau zu unterstützen und zu verbessern und bringst dazu aktiv Gestaltungsideen ein.

Aufgaben

- Du implementierst Features und Tools, die die Arbeit mit unserer Data Plattform für unsere unterschiedlichen User intuitiv und angenehm gestalten
- Du entwickelst IaC und Tools für Deployment und Management der Infrastruktur der Data Plattform
- Du gestaltest die Zukunft der Plattform, indem du eigene innovative Ideen entwickelst und einbringst
- Du überwachst Performance sowie Kosten unserer Plattform und der Data Pipelines, und unterstützt bei der Umsetzung von Optimierungsmöglichkeiten
- Du unterstützt die Dokumentation von Architektur und Prozessen, Best Practices und Blueprints der Plattform und teilst dein Wissen mit dem Team und den Usern
- Du arbeitest Hand in Hand mit Teamkollegen verschiedener Erfahrungsstufen (z.B. im Pairing) und unterstützt euch gegenseitig beim Lernen

Profil

- Du hast mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering oder Plattform Engineering
- Du hast Praxiserfahrung mit GCP und dessen Best Practices zur Umsetzung unterschiedlicher Anwendungsgebiete und Projekte (oder äquivalente Kenntnisse mit Azure oder AWS)
- Du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit Infrastructure as Code, bevorzugt Terraform, insbesondere für die Verwendung zum Plattform Engineering
- Der Aufbau und das Management von CI/CD-Pipelines sind dir vertraut
- Du hast ausgeprägte SQL-Kenntnisse und Erfahrung mit Skriptsprachen wie Python
- Du hast Erfahrung mit Cloud Data Warehouses oder ähnlichen Technologien wie BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift oder Databricks
- Du bist in der Lage, automatisierte, skalierbare und kosteneffiziente Data Pipelines zu designen und zu implementieren
- Du hast Kenntnisse in Programmierparadigmen und Softwarearchitekturmustern, idealerweise mit Erfahrung in Sprachen wie Java, Scala, Go
- Du beherrscht die deutsche Sprache verhandlungssicher in Wort und Schrift
