Evident Technology Center Europe GmbH (ETCE), based in Münster, Germany, has been developing and producing intelligent software and hardware solutions for microscopy for more than 35 years as a global ‘Center of Excellence.’ Until March 2023, it was part of Olympus Corporation, Japan. In April 2023, Olympus spun off the business unit and transferred its Scientific Solutions division’s operations to the newly founded, independent company Evident. Tasks Software and system tests: your exciting assignment will be to carry out software tests Test plans: you will create and update test plans in English Documentation: the results of your test are invaluable You will document them meticulously and generate bug reports in our bug tracking tool Testing: finally, you will test for the bugs you have fixed Requirements Student: you are enrolled as a student, have a strong affinity with IT and are interested in a long-term relationship – 20 hours per week for at least one year Practical experience: initial experience in software development, digital image processing / analysis and / or microscopy is a bonus Languague skills: a strong knowledge of English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous Technical abilities: you are not only fully conversant with Microsoft Office, but also convince with excellent hardware / software knowledge Team player: you are a superb communicator, motivated and full of initiative Location: you live in Münster (North Rhin-Westphalia) or the surrounding area, or are willing to commute Right to work: you are legally entitled to work in Germany (i.e. you have citizenship, a valid visa or a work permit) Benefits Flexible working hours inc. mobile work 30 days holiday/year Regular trining courses Free beverages and fresh fruit and vegetables daily Join company events and activities Interesting field of activity in an international wokring environment Evident Europe GmbH is an equal opportunities employer and we look forward to receiving your application.
