Für unsere R&D Abteilung suchen wir ab sofort einen Firmware Design Entwickler / Embedded.

With worldwide recognized experience in the area of water leakage location we help in this environment our partners and therefore every single person with an efficient handling of the consumption water resource. As a company of the Claire group, the FAST GmbH is with more than 45 employees at the site in Langenbrettach one of the leading suppliers of water equipment’s and represents the groupwide competence centre in the drinkable-water leakage identification segment. For the Langenbrettach site R&D department, we are looking for a Firmware Design Engineer

• Implementierung von Firmware-Komponenten (Treiber, neue Sensoren, Funk Module)

• Entwicklung neuer Sensorlösungen

• Beobachtung d. Markterfordernisse und Ableitung von Systemanforderungen

• Entwicklung neuer Mess-Methoden für Wasserleck Analyse

• Abstimmung der Systemanforderungen mit internen und externen Kunden

• Entwicklung detaillierter Beschreibungen für Komponententests

• Durchführung von Komponententests

• Mitwirkung an Design-Spezifikationen (HW und FW)

• Durchführung von Design Review (HW und FW)

• Support für bestehende Produkte

Implementing FW-components (drivers for communication module) and developing the communication interfaces and protocols

• Complete overview of the product architecture and the system architecture

• Knowledge about the LTE, Lora network and the data modelling

• Architect for new protocol design

• Reviewing and implementing protocols which are defined by external partners

• Using product firmware and software architecture, UML diagrams and model

• Validating market requirements and deriving system requirements.

• Clarifying requirements with internal and external customers

• Performing code reviews, developing component test descriptions, performing component tests, contributing to design specifications, supporting testers in acceptance tests, improving processes and existing products and supporting existing products.

• Master oder Bachelor der Elektronik, Elektrotechnik oder Sensortechnik

• Umfassende Kenntnisse und Erfahrung in der Entwicklung elektronischer Produkte

• Erfahrung mit IoT Produkten bzw. Sensorimplementierung im Zusammenhang mit Messung von Physikalischen Parametern (Temperatur, Druck, Feuchtigkeit, etc.)

• C-code Implementierung, Code Qualität, Test Automatisierung, Git System.

• Erfahrung mit ‚Low-Power‘-Design und batteriebetriebenen Produkten

• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• Electronic design on electronic, battery-powered and embedded applications

• Strong knowledge in communication ISO layers and protocol impacts

• Strength in authentification, encryption

• At least 5 years of experience in developing electronic products (ideally of battery-operated mass-produced products) within project environments. Design of communication protocol in C with data structure and presentation for communication protocol.

• Microcontroller 8 and 16bits

• English: Fluent; German.
