The HR Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational support to the HR department. The role involves the full spectrum of operational employee lifecycle management, including contract and document management, benefits administration, onboarding support for the organization, payroll preparation, employee inquiries, and other HR-related tasks. This includes task management for both our German and our international locations. You will work in a supportive team to balance tasks, while also having the opportunity to take ownership of certain areas to improve processes and develop your own skill set. Boost your career with awesome people What you will do: Manage and maintain our full document & contract management, ensuring consistent and compliant documents Handle and resolve Tier-1 and 2 employee inquiries, e.g., regarding contracts, policy, payroll, and systems, ensuring high-quality resolution Execute a streamlined operational onboarding experience, ensuring legal compliance and cross-functional process alignment Own the full range of employee data and documents in our HRIS Act as primary contact for our monthly payroll preparation and validation process, taking ownership of the document and information gathering, as well as a communication and escalation point with our external payroll provider Oversee and administer our absence management and employee benefits Identify and support / execute process improvements aimed at optimizing HR operational efficiency and driving automation Own and audit HRIS data integrity and system configuration to ensure the HR system is the single, accurate source of truth Who you are: Experience: 3+ years of relevant HR administration/operations experience Education: Completed HR-related commercial apprenticeship or a university degree (e.g., Business Administration/HR) Solid knowledge of employment contracts, onboarding processes, and HR systems Strong organizational skills, accuracy, a feeling of ownership, and a structured approach to work Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality Proficient handling of HR systems (Personio would be a plus) and data maintenance Ability to independently resolve more complex employee inquiries Willingness to actively participate in projects for the further development of the HR function English and German language skills at level B2 or above Fuel for the Journey: Benefits to Support Your Ambitions Invest in Your Future: Regular feedback and our development program support your growth, helping you expand your skill set and achieve your career goals.
