Founded in late 2024, Omnisent is a Munich-based acoustic AI company developing next-generation sensing systems that turn sound into real-time intelligence. The team combines deep expertise in physics, machine learning, and mechanical engineering — united by a mission to unlock the untapped intelligence of the acoustic world. At the core of Omnisent’s innovation are ultra-low-power sonic devices and the company’s Large Acoustic Model (LAM) — a foundation model trained on the complex world of non-speech audio. This unique combination enables the real-time detection, classification, and localization of acoustic events — whether identifying drones in contested airspace or tracing air leaks in manufacturing systems. Tasks Lead Omnisent’s engagement across government, and public-sector domains, building trusted relationships with policymakers, agency leaders, procurement officers, and operational stakeholders to understand mission needs and strategic priorities. Identify, shape, and drive defense opportunities, from operational tests and evaluations to rapid fielding and program alignment, positioning Omnisent’s acoustic-AI capabilities as mission-critical advantages for defense operations. Develop and manage a structured pipeline of defense initiatives, ensuring disciplined tracking, accurate forecasting, and tight alignment with acquisition timelines, funding cycles, and program milestones. Prepare and deliver high-impact briefings, white papers, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses that translate complex acoustic-AI technology into clear mission value, operational relevance, and strategic impact for defense customers. Partner closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to tailor solutions to defense requirements, and ensure mission feedback informs product strategy. Represent Omnisent with authority across defense forums, including onsite demonstrations, program reviews, conferences, and industry engagements — building credibility, strengthening relationships, and accelerating adoption within the defense community. Requirements Basic Requirements: 5+ years of experience in government affairs, defense engagement, public-sector partnerships, or a related policy/BD role. Demonstrated experience working with defense organizations, such as ministries of defense, armed forces branches, acquisition authorities, or research agencies. Strong understanding of defense procurement processes, acquisition cycles, and public-sector decision-making structures. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with policymakers, program offices, procurement officers, and operational stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & German. Strong organizational discipline with experience managing pipelines, tracking initiatives, and forecasting in CRM or equivalent systems. Ability and willingness to travel for onsite demonstrations, field tests, conferences, and government engagements. Valid EU work permit. Preferred Requirements: 7+ years of defense-focused government affairs or public-sector BD experience, ideally within deep-tech, dual-use, defense technology, or national security domains. Established network within defense ministries, armed forces branches, acquisition authorities, or national labs, with a track record of high-trust stakeholder engagement. Strong ability to develop and deliver high-impact proposals and briefings for defense customers, including formal RFP/RFI responses and mission-focused technical narratives. Benefits Competitive Compensation: Highly competitive cash comp, along with virtual stock options, that reflect your experience and the value you bring. Accelerated Learning & Growth: Join a fast-paced environment where you’ll take on real responsibility, overcome meaningful challenges, and grow alongside a driven team. Make a Real Impact: Play a key role in shaping Omnisent’s journey and contribute directly to the success of the company. Join us in redefining how the world listens, understands, and responds through intelligent acoustic sensing. In your cover letter, we’d love to hear about your personal interests, what drives you, why this role feels like the right fit — and most importantly, why Omnisent.
