Junior Unity Game Developer

We are an ambitious company in the gaming industry, creating next-generation mobile games with engaging 2D experiences. Our mission is to craft scalable, fun, and immersive games that reach players worldwide. To expand our team, we are looking for a Unity Game Developer who combines creativity with technical expertise and a strong sense of ownership. Tasks Develop and maintain 2D mobile games using Unity (C#) Implement engaging gameplay mechanics, UI systems, and smooth animations Optimize games for performance and memory usage on mobile platforms (iOS/Android) Collaborate with designers, artists, and product managers to bring features to life Integrate backend services, APIs, and analytics tools where needed Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with industry best practices Contribute to testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of our games Requirements Proven experience as a Unity Game Developer with shipped 2D mobile titles Strong skills in Unity (C#), 2D physics, animations, and UI systems Familiarity with mobile optimization techniques and platform guidelines Knowledge of integrating APIs, analytics, and in-app purchases Experience with version control (Git) and structured development workflows Highly self-organized, reliable, and proactive in your work Passion for gaming and understanding of mobile free-to-play mechanics English proficiency (required), German skills (a plus) Benefits Be part of the gaming industry with exciting and impactful mobile projects Flexible working model: Full-time employment or Freelance collaboration Flexible working hours with defined core hours to support work-life balance Remote-friendly environment A creative and international team that shares your passion for games Join Valorbyte, a thriving mobile gaming company, to innovate and create captivating 2D mobile games as a Unity Game Developer.
