Our customer CMBlu started in 2011 as a research-driven project with the goal of storing electrical energy in any quantity in an environmentally friendly, sustainable and cost-effective manner.

We are looking for an Independent team player who enjoys new professional challenges to join the team as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Alzenau.

Aufgaben
  • Support the development of innovative organic solid-flow batteries for the energy transition
  • Independently handle design and development tasks, always with a focus on efficiency, cost, and quality
  • Conceptualize and create technical solutions as well as improvement proposals
  • Produce drawings of assemblies and individual components, along with the associated documentation
  • Work closely and effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Coordinate and communicate with suppliers
  • Perform design-related calculations and evaluate them accordingly
  • Conducting technical experiments for the selection of designs, materials, and technologies
Qualifikation
  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a design engineer or development engineer
  • Experience with injection-molded parts and thermoplastic materials
  • Knowledge of various production processes and their associated economic aspects
  • Proficient in using CAD programs (knowledge of Inventor is an advantage)
  • Experience with the finite element method is desirable
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
