Senior Fullstack Engineer

Our customer, CMBlu, started in 2011 as a research-driven project with the goal of storing electrical energy in any quantity in an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and cost-effective manner. Since then, they have continuously expanded our broad IP portfolio and expertise in large-scale energy storage.

They are a highly motivated, committed, and fast-growing team of over 180 employees now preparing for the market launch of their products and further professionalizing their organization.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) to join the "Digital Laboratory" team within R&D Digitalization. In this pivotal role, you'll focus on implementing and integrating front-end, middleware, and back-end services to drive the digitalization and automation of the laboratories and test facilities. With your in-depth technical expertise and extensive experience, you will set architectural standards, establish best practices and have a lasting influence on development across multiple projects.

• You will work in a cross-functional team of software, data, cloud, DevOps and QA engineers to develop and continuously optimise innovative software solutions.
• You implement challenging requirements along the entire software development lifecycle - from architecture to development to deployment - according to the motto: You build it, you run it.
• You bring in new ideas to actively drive the digital transformation of our R&D landscape.
• You define standards and develop best practices that enable sustainable and scalable software development.
• You actively shape the development process and support your colleagues through mentoring and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

• Degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally with experience in an R&D or industrial environment.
• In-depth expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript as well as in backend technologies such as Node.js (Express, Nest) and frontend technologies such as Angular and CSS.
• Project experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ideally supplemented by knowledge of time series databases (e.g. InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Experience in the development of cloud services, preferably in Azure.
• Confident handling of Linux, Bash, containerised environments (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and comprehensibly to different target groups
• Business fluent in German and English.
