Senior Procurement Manager

For our location in Schönefeld, we are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager (m/w/d) Your Tasks: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, driving operational efficiency. Supplier & Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes. Provide functional leadership for Procurement team members, ensuring alignment with processes, standards, and strategic objectives. Process Optimization: define procurement policies and processes and implement tools for effective and where possible standardised procurement practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Sales and other departments to align procurement activities. Support sustainability initiatives through strategic sourcing. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyze procurement metrics and report on performance and savings. Your Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, preferably within heavy machinery industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage large-scale supplier contracts and complex procurement projects. Experience using procurement management software and tools. Proficient in German and English, both verbal and written. Drivers licence.
