Was erwartet Sie?
Sie installieren, patchen, aktualisieren und sichern Datenbanken und beraten bei der Skalierung unserer Kerndatenbank (Regionen Availability Zones - Bare Metal Installs)
Sie implementieren Sicherungs
- und Wiederherstellungsprozesse und optimieren die Abfrageleistung
Sie führen Datenbank-Gesundheitsprüfungen durch und planen und führen Datenbank-Upgrades durch
Sie führen Wartungsarbeiten durch und arbeiten eng mit dem Anwendungsteam zusammen, um geplante Änderungen zu verstehen, eine Auswirkungsanalyse durchzuführen und Feedback zu geben
Sie automatisieren die Bereitstellung, suchen Fehler und beheben Probleme
Sie sind in der Lage, einen flexiblen Arbeitsplan zu erstellen, der auch Nächte, Wochenenden, Feiertage, Notfall-Eskalationen usw. umfasst
Sie tragen zu unserer Roadmap für die Entwicklung von Microservices bei der Konzeption neuer Architekturen und Dienste bei

Was sollten Sie mitbringen?
Sie haben Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL Version 10 und höher in unternehmenskritischen Anwendungen und kennen sich mit PostgreSQL Replikationstopologien, physischer und logischer Replikation aus
Sie haben Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL HA Setups, z.B. Patroni, repmgr und kennen sich mit PostgreSQL-Backup-Strategien und -Tools, z.B. barman, pgbackrest, wal-e/wal-g aus
Sie verfügen über ein gutes Verständnis der PostgreSQL-Performance auf Bare-Metal und virtuellen Maschinen unter Linux
Sie kennen sich mit der PostgreSQL-Überwachung mit Tools wie Prometheus und Grafana aus und besitzen allgemeine Kenntnisse von Linux-Systemen, Volume Management, Dateisystemen und Bash-Kenntnissen
Sie kennen sich mit der unterstützenden Infrastruktur für Postgres, Verbindungspooler und Proxys aus
Sie haben idealerweise Kenntnisse in der Ansible-Automatisierung sowie mit PostgreSQL in Kubernetes
