**Scope and Purpose**:
In line with the indications and commercial planning of GTB Department and in cooperation with the structures of Relationship participate in the coverage team on target clients with a focus on Germany. Together with the Relationship Managers identify, quote and close trade finance deals (Letters of Credit, Import/Pre-export loans, promissory notes, bank guarantees, etc) with corporate customers. Identify, analyze and propose new trade finance business line to HO. Liaise with Head Office to acquire any information needed to conclude trade finance business with customers of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group
1. Develop trade finance business with the corporate customers at local level and originate new flow at international level in coordination with GTB Head Office.
2. Promote business development from new and existing clients and develop new revenue streams by identifying and selling also innovative solutions to its portfolio of clients thus maximizing commercial profitability
3. Participate in the coverage team and all the related activities on target clients
5. Cooperate and support the different structure of the branches in order to ensure a smooth handling of the transactions (i.e.: actively participating text/contracts elaboration and negotiation of stand by, LC'S, guarantees......)
6. Ensure the necessary technical/specialist support during the origination, sales, onboarding phases as well as managing post-sale requests for Transaction Banking products.
7. Participate in internal and external business events, road shows and seminars as required by the business
8. Inform Head Office on any substantial mandatory changes in local regulation and/or local market developments
9. Stay abreast of market developments in the trade finance market expebcib

**Required Experience**:
1. In Trade Finance sales position (previews experience) 7-10 years minimum
2. Good general knowledge of the markets, international business and its practices.
3. Excellence relationship with large corporates in Germany

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge**:
1. Undergraduate level degree in business, international economics or international relations or equivalent international banking experience.
2. German mother tongue, strong English skills, Italian will be considered a plus
3. Good knowledge of Supply Chain Finance platform products will be considered a plus
4. Deep knowledge of trade finance products (i.e. LC's including discounting, guarantees, export/import loans, etc). Trade finance products price sensitivity
5. Trade Finance selling experience and good relationship skills
6. Understanding of the Bank's global network, its resources and products
7. Ability to analyze market and customer business potential to effectively convey / sell such evaluation to the Relationship Manager, HO and to the appropriate structures
8. Ability to create appropriate solutions that meet both the customer's needs and the bank's requirements.
