Private Equity Associate

**Responsibilities**:
- Conducting market research and financial analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Presenting selected investment opportunities to the Investment Committee
- Preparing detailed investment memos and financial models to support investment decisions
- Leading due diligence efforts, including financial and legal reviews of potential investments
- Participating in deal negotiations and structuring of the transaction execution.
- Supporting portfolio company management teams in areas such as strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational improvement initiatives
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of portfolio companies
- Supporting fundraising efforts, including preparation of marketing materials and participating in investor meetings
- Building and maintaining relationships with investors, advisors, and other stakeholders in the industry
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from a top university
- 3-5 years of experience in a **top-tier** management consultancy firm (**MBB**) or a **bulge bracket** investment bank followed by Private Equity experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Private Equity firm is mandatory to be considered for the position.
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- MBA or CFA designation preferred
- Fluent in German and English languages
