**Sustainability Market Research Intern**

We expect Market Research Analyst Intern will provide us with the information that will help us make data-based decisions about opportunities for sustainability initiatives in Germany. We need to identify crucial points in the hospitality industry within sustainability, which we can improve and which will lead to an environmentally friendly dining experience. We also want to learn about consumer behavior and attitudes, looking at what people think in terms of sustainability in their daily lives, especially in the food industry. We also want to study what other businesses in hospitality do within the topic of sustainability.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Research and compile data about sustainability in Germany
- Analyze information on the actual situations, trends, legislation, and customer perception of sustainability
- Compile data related to competitors and their attitudes toward sustainability
- Identify impactful initiatives related to sustainability
- Identify current the most crucial topics in sustainability in general and in the hospitality industry
- Find the best and most trustful data sources concerning sustainability
- Drafts questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other internal data collection resources
- Find the best references on sustainability communication in the German market
- Summarize and interpret data to Sustainability Project Lead; complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining findings, make recommendations related to research findings

**Required skills & abilities**
- English and German language
- Analytical and research skills
- Ability to interpret complex information in easily understood terms

**Education and experience**
- Environmental studies is an advantage
- Student of market research, economy or marketing
- Market analysis experience

**Internship description**
- Duration: 2 months
- Start: Mid January, February
- Number of hours: min 5 hours per week
- Working hours: flexible
- External cooperation, if you are based in Prague you might meet with your supervisor bi-weekly in person too
