As a Chapter Lead Frontend, you will be leading a multicultural development team. You'll work side by side with Product Owners, Agile Coach, DevOps, and more to build new features and extend existing features on our platform to support our customers' video content operations at scale. You will also work closely with our CTO to contribute to overall tech strategy and vision, while mentoring and guiding your team every day.

**As a Chapter Lead Frontend, you will take on the following** **responsibilities**:

- Own the architectural design and execution of our scalable enterprise video platform in close cooperation with other technical Team Leads
- Create technical solutions to implement high-quality and scalable video asset management and video streaming solutions for enterprise customers
- Lead software developers to success and support them in improving and developing their technical and soft skills
- Mentor and motivate your team and be the “go-to” person for all kinds of support and guidance
- Partner with our People & Agility team to further develop our modern and efficient process for attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining awesome talent
- Take care of administrative tasks related to people management within your team (holiday approvals etc.)
- Actively contribute to hands-on tasks (code at least 50% of the time)
- Collaborate and work closely with leaders from other departments of the company to support the vision of the company
- Support agile processes and cross-functional cooperation between tech and non-tech departments

**To thrive in the role as a Chapter Lead Frontend, you will need**:

- Strong people management and leadership skills combined with proven experience in coaching and guiding team members
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish and manage relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant work experience with Frontend Technologies of 6+ years
- Vast experience with JavaScript and Typescript
- Confident knowledge of React 16
- Extensive experience with Webpack or similar build tools
- Familiarity with unit testing tools like Jest
- Familiarity with e2e testing for instance Cypress
- Experience with redux and redux-observable is a plus
