**Duties**:
**Basic Function of the Position**:
This position oversees the property section and unclassified mailroom operations at the American Consulate General, under the supervision of the General Services Specialist. Responsibilities include managing residential make-readies, property warehousing, receiving and disposal of goods, local and US mail and pouch shipments, and handling expendable supplies. The role maintains inventories, performs housing check-ins and check-outs for all USDH personnel at the Post, and acts as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for service contracts up to $200,000. The incumbent is responsible for a total inventory of USG assets valued between $4-5 million. The incumbent must be able to and should perform the tasks they supervise, especially in situations where the team is short-staffed or experiencing a workload surge.

**EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, mailroom and/logístical support services are required.
- Education Requirements:
High School/Secondary School Diploma is required.
- Evaluations:
English: Fluent - speaking/reading/writing, may include the ability to translate - is required (this may be tested).
German: Good working knowledge - speaking/reading/writing - is required (this may be tested).
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- Capable of planning and managing a wide variety of logístical operations (e.g., space management, supply and equipment needs, etc.), acting independently, and exercising supervisory control over subordinate personnel
- Must have a valid, current license for Class B local or license valid to drive in this country. Must have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of three (3) years. Must have a Class C1 Truck license or the ability to obtain one within the probationary period. Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one within the probationary period.
