At the Faculty I - Psychology, Chair of Giftedness Research and Gifted Education (Prof. Dr. Franzis
Preckel), a position is available at the earliest possible date as a

Scientific Employee (M/F/d)
**Postdoctoral Researcher in Giftedness Research and Talent Development**

(E 13 TV-L, 100%, temporary for qualification according to WissZeitVG [e.g. habilitation]. The position is
advertised for three years. The possibility of a further fixed term of up to a maximum of six years exists

in principle).

**These tasks await you**
The applicant is expected to participate actively in the teaching and research projects of the chair and
to work on his/her own qualification project (e.g. habilitation). At the same time, a willingness to
participate in the organization and conduct of studies and in the acquisition and supervision of third
- party funded projects is required. A research and teaching profile with a focus on intelligence, giftedness,
and cognitive and non-cognitive predictors of performance and talent development is expected. A
methodological focus on multivariate, longitudinal data analyses is desired in order to ensure
compatibility with the research activities of the chair. Participation is expected in particular in the
Bachelor's degree program (performance and personality diagnostics, selected topics in differential and
educational psychology), in the Master's degree program in psychology with a focus on "Talent
Development, Instruction and Counseling" as well as in the supervision of theses (Bachelor's and
Master's theses).

**What we expect from you**:

- Completed academic university degree (Master's, Diploma or similar) in psychology (the
- recruitment requirements are specified in - 57 para. 2 and 3 HochSchG)- Completed doctorate in the field of psychology
- Relevant international publications and relevant teaching experience in the field of differential
- and/or educational psychology and, if applicable, psychological assessment- Research interests in the development of achievement and talent and their cognitive and non
- cognitive predictors
