(Senior) Expert Master Data Management (f/m/d)

Full-time and permanent

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of processes and systems used for managing data.

You will be supporting maintaining and monitoring the data management processes to ensure they meet organizational requirements.

Your key responsibilities:

- Create and manage a GxP compliant master data framework and governance system for Evotec in conjunction with a Greenfield ERP implementation project (SAP S4/HANA) working closely with Business (Operations & Enabling Functions) across all systems and functions
- Gather and analyze business requirements, manage end-to-end solution delivery, build relationships with stakeholders, and uncover opportunities to deliver business value
- Analyze existing quality of master data, develop a gap analysis and define a Master Data Management roadmap that suites the needs of Evotec
- Ensure the development and documentation of processes/ templates to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity within the Master Data Governance setup
- Identify and analyze areas for data quality improvements/ simplifications together with business process owners and help to resolve data quality issues through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction
- Understand strategic drivers and tactical needs to ensure that the project team can provide solutions that meet the business needs with the necessary stability, usability, and scalability
- Own global master data projects and position master data in strategic projects where applicable

Your ideal qualifications:

- Several years of working experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Proven experience with GxP in a regulated industry
- MDM/MDG experience in SAP is a must, experience with SAP functional modules SD/MM/WM/PS, experience in FI/CO is a plus
- Knowledge of data quality tools, data profiling techniques and databases is an advantage
- Fluency on English - additional language as an advantage
- Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand existing business processes
- Experience managing and | or executing data cleansing, data mapping processes and data migration projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with “can do“ mentality and ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
