- We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced data analytics and digitalization expert to enable and drive the data behind our digitalized corporate security processes.

**What part will you play?**
- Working with a variety of corporate security teams and topics, including situation and & intelligence, asset classification & protection, travel & project security and data driven decision making, you will support us to maintain and develop existing IT/SaaS solutions to keep Siemens employees safe
- You will provide expert advice to help us create and deliver new data analysis concepts to enable us to maximize the way we leverage our large internal and external data resources in the implementation of departmental initiatives
- You will work in different workstreams digitalization within the department and will implement and maintain "Data Pipelines" into multiple platforms
- You will play a key role in developing data analytics strategy, championing the use of data analytics and modern digitization methods across the department
- You will provide your know-how, including tool and platform selection decisions, to all ongoing departmental digitization projects to ensure that they are in line with data strategy principles

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- You have completed a Master's degree, e.g., with a focus on business informatics, computer science, data engineering or similar
- You have first working experience in data management, engineering and analysis and programming languages, including Python and SQL. API is not new to you
- You are able to handle data analytics platforms such as Alteryx, BI-Tools (Power BI and / or Tableau), data catalogue tools (or similar)
- You are able to translate stakeholder pain points into tangible solutions. As a strong plus, your understanding of data extends into Corporate Security or risk processes
- You are interested in and are able to contribute to the strategy of our digitalization and IT (tool) landscape, especially in providing recommendations and knowledge in tool selection
- You have knowledge in portfolio management and ideas how to ensure the improvement of functionalities and optimization of the data management and analysis
- You have an interest in further developing your knowledge of data strategy (creating systematic prerequisites to be able to use data efficiently)
- You have an understanding of ITIL, vendor and/or project management. Some experience in this area is a plus
- You can communicate effectively in business-fluent English (verbal and written) and translate complex technical or regulatory topics into simple language that everyone can understand. German is a plus
