**JOB DESCRIPTION** Working Student_ Securities Services_Custody Middle Office_Emerging Talent_(M/F/d)_Frankfurt**

We´re looking for a highly motivated student in our Custody Middle Office for a duration of one year, 19 hours/week during the semester and fulltime in period of university holidays. In the office onsite in Frankfurt.

The role is based in the Firm’s Securities Services business. The Securities Services business delivers investor solutions to help institutional clients protect their portfolios, optimize their efficiency and maximize opportunities in diverse global markets. We support clients across a global custody network spanning ca. 100 markets, with custody and asset servicing, fund accounting and administration, alternative investment services, integrated analytics, agency lending, collateral management and depositary receipt solutions. Our global clients include; Asset/Fund Managers, Asset Owners, Banks and Broker-Dealers, Hedge Funds and Alternative Investors, Insurance Companies and GSEs (Government Sponsored Enterprise).

The Custody Middle Office includes a wide variety of cross-product activity and support including: Trade Settlement Instruction Capture, Settlement, Fails Management, Cash Instruction Capture, Overdraft Monitoring, Asset Servicing Instruction Capture and Income/Corporate Actions completions.

The Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) team plays a vital role in the day to day management of clients’ investment into German Special Funds. The ISS team acts prepares and processes clients’ unit deal activity in the Special Funds. Key focus areas for the role are proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge and drive for excellence.

**Responsibilities**:
Support the team in day-to-day work, such as
- preparation of clients’ activity in unit deals and distributions for German Special Funds
- Delivery of unit deal details to internal teams
- Maintenance of the transaction overview
- E-mail inbox management for the team
- Quality assurance (check if all bookings have been processed
- Creation and submission of daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for senior management
- Support other teams in Custody Middle Office if required
- Project-related tasks depending on workload

**Required qualification, capabilities and skills**:

- Studying towards a degree in Business Administrations, Finance, Economics or similar
- strong MS Office skills
- ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated, flexible, analytical and proactive
- attention to detail
- good time management skills
- reliability and team-player personality
- fluency in German and English is essential
